So I have my History and English finals tomorrow, and then school is over.

I'll be in Canada until the 28th, so obviously I won't be commenting or any such thing (unless I magically find a computer up north).

So, have nice lives until the end of the month. =]

I'm tired, and I think I'm coming down with something. Of course, this is all due to the fact that I substituted six hours of camwhoring with Passion for sleep last night. The hyper-extending elbow made its modeling debut in about 200 photos (and I'm not exaggerating). I've been on the computer since eleven this morning, and have run out of people to talk to and sites to visit. I now officially hate the Internet.

I love my life. <3<3

So today was nice. A big improvement from yesterday, that’s for sure. The High School Assessments are still seriously screwing up the schedule, so I had History first thing in the morning. We watched Forrest Gump. =] And then we watched FOUR videos in Health (on stupid things like chlamydia and the flu), and then we just hung out in Spanish, and went over the homework in English…

We (meaning me, my dad, and my sister) had a really awesome discussion at dinner. We talked about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the racism behind Power Rangers (the originals—I’m a purist!), and how my mom was whacked out because I loved the Black Ranger and she tried getting me to like the Pink. My mom came home, and she was all, “Guess who’s teeth I cleaned today! The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court’s mother!” Which, I’ll admit, is pretty darn cool. My mom’s celebrity meeting… haha. She said that lady’s very nice. She and I finished watching Forrest Gump at home, and I cried a lot. x__x

Off to study for Biology, now… how have you all been?

I should really blame Mrs. Gentile for that dixie score. I was always content with the fact that I spoke "normal" English even though we're technically the south... but she got me into the habit of saying "y'all".

In other news, I spent today watching Memoirs of a Geisha with my mother.

Wow... I haven't updated this in a while. Should I just kill it and put it out of its--I don't want to say misery, but, well, how about loneliness? Maybe, maybe not. In any case, I figured I should update to see if I remembered how.

So. All that really happened today is that our Biology sub was Nigerian and I had the worst time understanding what he was saying. Aaaand... I've finally decided that I need new socks (oh, come on, I've only had those for what, two years?).

Evil Aunt o' Doom is coming to get me in a few moments, and I'll be gone until late Sunday.

Oh, what a wonderful weekend I'm going to have.

So expect me back then if I don't die of food poisoning first.

Not much has been happening lately, which I guess isn't bad but isn't quite fun either.

I got As on all my assesments, and I think got a 4.0 last quarter! High school sucks, but knowing I'm doing well makes it a tiny (as in tiiiiiiny) bit better. But now, for some reason, I'm bogged with projects this weekend. ;__;

Yesterday was the one day I forgot my case at home and couldn't take off my glasses for P.E., so of course I got hit in the head with a basketball. x__x It left me with a big read mark and a killer headache, not to mention that it bent up my glasses. My mom was all pissed off at me when I told her; she accused me of lying, saying that I was probably careless and screwed them up myself. Then, later on, she asked me what the mark on my face was from. (I told her, "It's from where the dumb ball hit me, you moron!") But I got them fixed today, which is yay hoorayness.

Today in English we found out Josh (he of I've-got-Josh-Ro-in-my-pocket fame) went to school with JoJo. EW! I don't know why a fourteen-year-old (well, she was thirteen then) singing about a live-in boyfriend (I mean, come on) was so popular. She's just so... yuck. After school I came home and babysat, which meant hanging out with a screaming baby for two hours. At least I walked away with $15. Meaning Full Moon wo Sagashite volume three, here I come!!

I really want to see Advent Children, but I don't know where to download it. And none of the websites you can google show the American release date. Dammit... >_>

I better go to bed soon, because tomorrow I get up nice and early to volunteer with Carolyn at the Animal Welfare Center. It should be fun!!! As long as I take all my allergy medicine, at least...

Hokay, today was actually pretty fun.

Fast forward through the first part of the day, that completely sucked. To lunch. Sophia brought this thermos, and we looked and it was--omg!!--Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders!!!! We all spazzed out ("oh my God! I remember that!!"). My water bottle always hates me, so I spilled it (as usual), but not on my waterproof back back (for once).

So I got home and made some brownies... ate half the pan... and then went to babysit these kids. I do this every Friday, in case you don't know. The little one has like, sever separation anxiety and went insane when her mom left. After drooling all over me and rubbing her snot in my hair (said it with me now: ewwwwww), she finally fell asleep and I played a Star Wars game with her brother. Then I came home, found my mom snooping around on the computer and watched as she tried to deny it.

Aforementioned mother went to a bunko game with the other neighborhood ladies, leaving my dad, sister and I to get fast food. Got home, ate, did some DDR. My dad siad he'd make a mix tape of songs he has on vinyls if I wrote down the ones I wanted, so I just got through with that. Oh em eff gee--he has the original Cheap Trick at Budokan record, and almost everything on the inside is written in Japanese! *spaz* I have promised myself that I'm going to learn how to read it.

And now I am making flashcards for my class tomorrow with Matsui-sensei. I need to install an actual hiragana/katakana font, so I don't have to cut-and-paste every single character... >_<;;

Well, here's hoping you enjoyed your day as much as I have mine <3<3

(And, Emily, isn't your homecoming next weekend...? That's what Tiff told me. Oh well. Call me sometime tomorrow, 'kay? We should do a three-way with Roston.)

Yesterday the 10th and 11th graders took the PSATs, so while the seniors got to go on some trip (or so I heard), we got to listen to guest speakers all morning. And most of them talked about disabled people, and how lucky we were to be normal, and while I really am grateful, it just made me feel awful. 'Cause there was this one guy who got his legs blown off in the Vietnam War. So I felt horrible because they can't do what I can...

Lunch was an hour late, so I nearly starved. After school, the maternal unit took me to get my spiffy new glasses. (Well, I wouldn't exactly call them spiffy, but... they're okay...) Then we rented some movies, meaning tonight I *finally* get to see Breakfast at Tiffany's (Audrey!).

So now I'm sitting around, listening to the radio, waiting in vain for them to hold another call-in thing for a Foo Fighters concert Sunday at the 9:30 club. Since I wasn't invited to the Foos and Weezer on Monday. Meh. Well, I'll be taking a break from my pumpkin muffin to take a shower, now. See ya!

So Michelle just called me about this little "episode" we've been having lately. She sounded all sad, like she had been crying and porbably reading the Bible, like she does when she gets all worked up over little things. (Like what I happened at Jessica's party last spring.) But I'm still extremely pissed with her, so I just said, "Look, I'm really busy. I'll talk to you some other time. Bye," and hung up.

What a moron. What part of "You really offended me, I don't want to be your friend anymore," doesn't she understand?

1. Use fanfiction.net's Search Story By Summary and look up your name in either Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

2. If there are any Mary Sues that share your name, pick the worst-sounding ones and post the summary.

Not too many here... )

Why does every Pamela have an evil person's bad name?! Snape, Pettigrew... eugh. I don't know what Thorn is though (an OC???). I wanted to search for LOTR, but alas... my name didn't show up. ;_;

Today was high school orientation, and to my surprise, it was actually pretty fun! I had to continuously run up and down stairs to get to my classes, though. I have tons of classes with my friends, it's great. Anyway... my schedule... the real deal this time!

P1: Art I - Evan Lalonde [This looks like fun. The teacher was really nice, he was like, "I'm new... so we're all freshman!"]
P2: Algebra II - Deborah Lebair [I dunno what to think of her. After having Ms. Howe, she's not what I'd expect math teacher to be like. The class is probably going to be insane, though, just based off of who's in it. x__x I have to run from the first floor to the third in, what, two minutes?, for this class.]
P3: "Lifetime Fitness," aka Gym - Karen Wolfe [Seems icky. Then again, I was never one for gym class. Back down to the first floor for this one.]
P4A: Spanish II Honors - Brooke Tilley [There are only five freshman in this class! It's quite cool. BACK UP TO THE FRIGGIN THIRD FLOOR.]
P4B: Biology I - Suzanne Hughes [She seems to be a lot better than my eighth grade teacher, which is a relief. To the second floor, this time, and stay there for the rest of the day!]
P5: English 9 - Margaret Brothman [I heard this class is a lot of fun, the teacher seems awesome. She told us, "With all this technology, notebooks are becoming obsolete... so we'll have web blogs for this class!" I thought Amber was with me, BUT SHE HAD TO LEAD ME ON AND IN REALITY WASN'T!!! <3<3]</i>
P6: United States History, Part II - Jan Edlowitz [He's supposed to be a good teacher, but our class is really crowded. Amber's with me for real in this class!]

XD Homeroom's going to be fun. It's me, Gunter, Vivic (umm, spelling?), Amanda, and Michelle in the same class, along with some other people. So, um, yeah. Anyone have any classes with me? I know not everyone was there today...
